Back in June 2001 when the Rooster went online, we choose a very basic shipping and handling charge structure and held that until January 2006 after a cost analysis.  Needless to say, we discovered that we had experienced many cost increases during that extended timeframe.  We had to bring our charges to a point that covered our cost.

Please bear in mind that the shipping and handling charge covers more than just the actual postage.  The expenses of order processing include the cost of performing all the support functions that make shopping online so convenient.

Normally orders are shipped within a week.  If there is any problem we contact the customer.

Our primary carrier is the US Postal Service Priority Mail.  They are at your mailbox everyday and our orders are delivered within two or three days.  The one exception would be very heavy orders which we automatically will ship
UPS Ground.
